Bend & Break
This episode focuses on Callie and Arizona as they go through a tough time in their relationship.  They go to therapy and things still keep getting worse to the point that their problems are affecting work at the hospital. The therapist suggests taking a break during their next session, and all the TV fans out there know that "taking a break" is never good!  Callie hates the idea and doesn't really understand, but Arizona is all for it.  The rules are as follows: For 30 days, the two won't talk unless it's an emergency, they'll still live together because they have Sofia, but they'll live in separate rooms with separate lives, and they aren't allowed to be intimate with anyone.
Challenge Accepted!
Day 1: That morning, Callie tells Arizona that she doesn't think they need it anymore and wants to talk, but Arizona follows the rules and doesn't say a word.  They go through the day at work, same medical drama they face as usual, but separate.
Day 10: The stress from work and the separation has finally hit too hard on Callie and Meredith decides to invite her out for drinks.  They get very drunk and when Callie does home, she kisses Arizona.  Apparently the therapist thinks that's too intimate for the rules.
Uh oh!  Rule Break!  Time starts over!
Day 16: During surgery, Callie's new drinking buddy Meredith talks in code about their problems with their "diets".  When they go out to eat, she orders them a cheeseburger and the pickle on the side gives Callie an idea to fix a problem with one of their patients.  They spend most of the night working on it and Callie decided to just sleep there for the night.  Arizona obviously notices that she's not there and worries that Callie's cheating on her.
Day 17: Arizona talks to Callie about what she did last night and Callie explains herself.  When they see the therapist, Callie says it's a nice thing that Arizona was worried about her, but in a good way.
Day 29: After a busy day at work, Callie and Arizona sleep together, saying that it's close enough.
Day 30: Arizona faces problems in her fellowship because she was doing other things last night that didn't involve studying.
They made it!  The 30 days are finally over!
In their concluding therapy session, Arizona says she loves Callie and she lists off all these sweet things she loves about her and then Callie begins to cry.  Callie has ended up enjoying the break, she finally feels free.  She realizes that she needs to love herself and she wants Arizona to have more than "being stuck with someone who feels stuck", to feel free.
Other things that happened during the episode...
Arizona has to hand over all her work to Alex, and in the case for this week, the family doubts Alex's abilities and "awesomeness" as Arizona put it. Arizona practices for a big surgery in her fellowship and Kepner make cool jell-o models for her to practice on with a little grape in the middle. Amy is giving an update on Addison to Dr. Herman, who never expected Addison to have a baby.  Henry is in the messy stage of childhood and Addison's house is in disarray.

Hope you sent your kids to bed quickly after Charlie Brown! ;)
Scandal

An Innocent Man
Apparently there was a bit of a problem with there being only half a minute between the end of It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and certain scandalous activities on Scandal, if you know what I mean.  I personally think it's kind of funny and you should expect certain scandalous activites to happen if Scandal is on.  Now... on to the recap!
Olivia is back at the pool, swimming laps, thinking of times she's been with Jake, but seeing both him and Fitz alternately.  She keeps calling Fitz about Jake, but he's just ignoring her calls now.  When she wakes up from a nightmare, Abby come in and makes sure she's okay.  I guess they're both besties again since she stayed over that night.  That morning, Abby talks to Fitz about the "Jake problem" and he starts calling her "Gabby" again since he's not happy about that.  She begs him to talk to Olivia, and in true Fitz style, he shows up at her apartment and tells her to lay off.
Fitz is now buddies with Eli and talks with him about Olivia.  Eli convinces him to let Olivia see Jake by the end of their conversation.  When she goes to see Jake, he's practically become the definition of what it means to give up.  He tells her "not choosing me is okay".
Olivia goes to David to help set Jake free but he tells her that Jake is not under his jurisdiction anymore.  Eli talks to Jake, telling him that "you can't take Command, Command takes you".  Olivia tells Fitz that if he hands Jake over to her father, that if he dies, there's no hope for the two of them.  Fitz doesn't think that there is no hope, but Olivia says there is.  Fitz ends up transferring Jake to a prison for the rest of his life.
Meanwhile, at the White House, Mellie is stepping up as First Lady again and her first task is to help prepare a funeral for an ex president.  The ex First Lady, Bitsy, takes over her office and finishes the plans.  She quickly becomes my new favorite character as she helps my other favorite, Mellie, gain influence back in the White House.
Cyrus keeps on making the same mistake over and over again, and it looks like it's beginning to bite him in the butt.  It starts to interfere with his job when his "friend" is passing secret information along to Lizzy Bear, who quickly starts rumors herself. Towards the end of the episode, Abby threatens to blackmail him if he doesn't lay off.
Back at OPA, Quinn and Huck work on finding where the key from the last episode came from.  Quinn is trying lockers all day while Huck is at his computer playing video games.  We soon find out that his son is playing with him on the other end.  When Quinn finally gets to the correct locker, she finds pictures and brings them back to OPA.  They're pictures of Olivia!
Olivia is swimming again at the end of the episode and her father is at the other side.  He's pretty mad that she intervened with Jake's transfer. Her reply: "I have weapons of my own too".

 #WhoKilledSam?
How to Get Away with Murder
Freakin' Whack-a-Mole
Flash Back:
Asher's preparing for the bonfire but amid all the self-partying, he discovers his trophy is gone.  He heads over to Keating's house and demands it back, but Laurel quickly directs him somewhere else by sending him a text.
While transporting Sam's body, the group almost runs over Asher while he's walking across the street, but he doesn't notice them because he's busy talking to someone, presumably a girl, on his phone.
In a surprising turn of events, the woman on the phone is Bonnie, and they end up sleeping together.  She gets a phone call from Annalise, who is worried that "something terrible has happened" to Sam.

Flash Forward:
Wes doesn't show up to class, and the trophy is sitting in his place. Keating shows up to his apartment and invites him back.  She asks him what he wants, and he tells her that he wants Rebecca back.  Annalise asks Frank for a favor, to find Rebecca and plant the phone in Griffin's car.  Towards the end of the night, we see Nate get photographic evidence of Frank planting the phone in the car, and it doesn't look like it's gonna be used for good.
Frank and Laurel share a sweet little moment by the coffee machine and Bonnie walks in.  Later, she tells Laurel to stop leading Frank on or else she'll tell Annalise (because she still has room to talk).  Sadly, Laurel does end up telling Frank that she wants to "keep things professional" between them.
How does Asher get the trophy?  He gives some really valuable information, that's how.
When Same sees that the phone of Lila Stangard is found in Griffin's car and that it has some racy pictures on it.  Annalise tells him he has nothing to worry about because she changed the wallpaper because she really does love him and she needs him.  Then there's a knock on the door, it's Rebecca and Wes!  They're back!

There you have it!  Now you're caught up, so don't miss TGIT tonight starting at 8/7c on ABC!
